Usher

Usher represents what a working Beauceron should be: athletic, capable, and mentally steady with a clear sense of purpose. He is a dog built for real work, powerful without heaviness, efficient in movement, and able to go all day. His structure is functional and honest, emphasizing endurance, agility, and durability over flash.

True to his roots, Usher is naturally aloof with strangers but also neutral, confident, and comfortable observing versus seeking attention. With his people, he is deeply connected and eager, offering an exceptional level of biddability and clarity in training. He learns quickly, engages willingly, and brings an impressive degree of toy drive and work ethic to every session. This is a dog who thrives on challenge and activity. He loves to work, loves to think, and gives full effort every time.

Usher has been a slow and steady maturer, both physically and mentally, a trait we value in a breed designed for longevity and soundness. He has continued to broaden, strengthen, and develop with age. We expect him to continue to fill out until four or five years old. Usher will soon start his career in herding as he has shown exceptional natural ability from a young age.

Usher is available for stud with the working dog in mind via fresh cool, frozen semen or live cover.
